Veterinarian, Managing Director Dr. Coleen Dossey has been with Town & Country Veterinary Hospital since April 1995. She earned a Master of Science degree in Animal Physiology and a Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine at the University of California at Davis. In addition to practicing traditional veterinary medicine, she has pursued advanced education in integrative medicine and is an I.V.A.S. Certified Veterinary Acupuncturist. Dr. Dossey earned certification by the Chi Institute in Chinese Herbal Medicine in 2014, and is excited to offer both holistic treatment options for your pet, as well as traditional veterinary medicine. In her spare time she enjoys spending quality time with her husband, watching her sons play lacrosse, gardening, quilting, and practicing yoga.
Veterinarian Dr. Donald R. Gardner earned his undergraduate degree in Zoology/Biological Sciences from U.C. Berkeley, then completed his Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine at the University of California, Davis. Dr. Gardner has been serving the pets of Pleasanton and the Tri-Valley area for over 45 years. In his spare time he enjoys Masters swimming, scuba diving, fly fishing, and spending time with his wife and family. The Gardner family has too many pets to mention, but Noah's Arc pretty much sums up their lifestyle.
Veterinarian Dr. Lisa Mason has been with Town & Country since 2014. Dr. Mason earned her Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Michigan, and graduated with honors from Michigan State University Veterinary School. Before relocating to the Tri-Valley area, Dr. Mason worked at a large multi-doctor veterinary hospital in Southern California for 16 years. Dr. Mason shares her home with Emma, a Thoroughbred, Spike, a Tennessee Walker, and Cassie (a.k.a. Cassidy Buttercup Dandelion), a rescued Golden Retriever mix. In her spare time she enjoys horseback riding, taking her children to and from their various sports and activities, and spending quality time with her husband, family and friends.
Veterinarian Dr. Rosato joined the Town & Country team in 2018. Previously she has practiced in Fremont for 27 years. Dr. Rosato received her Bachelor of Science degree in Biochemistry from Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo. She earned her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine at Purdue University in Indiana, where she received the award for Highest Proficiency in Small Animal Medicine as a senior student. Although Dr. Rosato LOVES all creatures, her passion is a Feline Friendly Practice. She shares her home with her four felines: Tamale, Lizzie, Queso, and Eiger. In her spare time, Dr. Rosato and her husband enjoy skiing, hiking, camping, and canoeing.
Hospital Manager Cheree has been with Town & Country since 1998. Cheree graduated from Las Positas College in 2007 with an Associate of Arts degree in Administration of Justice. She shares her home with her husband and their two kids: Miss Skye, a Blue Pitbull, and Ronan, a Red Doberman. In her spare time she enjoys playing mahjong, gardening, swimming, and spending time with friends and family.
Pet Hotel Manager Stephanie has been keeping the pets of the Pleasanton Pet Hotel happy, healthy, and well cared for since 2007. Stephanie shares her home with her dogs Blue, Syris, Maggie, Paco, and Foxy, her African Gray named Darby, Tweet the Wild Sparrow, her cat RC and her Arabian horse named Rocky. When she's not caring for precious pets of the Pleasanton Pet Hotel, she is spending time with friends and family, and enjoying horseback riding.
Lead Registered Veterinary Techncian (RVT) After a 13 year hiatus, in 2018, Sabyl rejoined the Town & Country team. Sabyl has been in the veterinary field since 2000. Since we last saw her, she tied the knot, her son Churchill went off to college, and she bought a cabin in the Sierras. Sabyl shares her life with her husband and son, and her two Cattledog mixes Tesla and Jane, her Terrier Polly, her Jack Russel mix Gordon, her one-eyed cat Mao, her one-eyed horse Minnow, and her two Chickens Kitt and Natalie. In her spare time she enjoys horseback riding, spending time with friends and family, and visiting her cabin in the woods. ;)

Registered Veterinary Techncian (RVT) Odessa (a.k.a) Odie, joined the Town & Country team in 2016. Odie is a Registered Veterinary Technician and has been in the veterinary field since 2012. In her spare time she enjoys the great outdoors, camping, working out and spending quality time with her husband and their two high energy boys. Odie also shares her home with Buster, her handsome & stubborn English Bulldog.
Registered Veterinary Techncian (RVT) Cassie joined the Town & Country team in 2017. Cassie completed her Carrington College externship hours at our hospital, where she fell in love with our patients, clients, and team. Cassie passed her State boards, and is waiting to take her National Exam soon. We are happy to welcome Cassie to the Town & Country team!
Registered Veterinary Techncian (RVT) Mary joined the Town & Country team in 2019. Mary received her veterinary training in the military, and fell in LOVE with helping animals. Mary bio to follow.
Client Services Representative (CSR) Michael Ann joined the Town & Country team in 2015 as a Client Care Specialist. In her spare time she enjoys horseback riding, camping, and spending quality time with friends and family. Michael Ann shares her home with her boyfriend Jeff, and their Deaf, Double Dapple Dachshund, Quiet Riot. She enjoys curling up with a good book, coloring, and Karaoke.

She lives on a cattle ranch in Castro Valley with her husband, her 2 Dachshunds, 2 cats, 5 horses and 1 goat. In her spare time she enjoys riding her horse, Lucy, taking photographs of the livestock on the ranch, and spending time with friends and family.
Client Services Representative (CSR) Isabella is a Client Care Specialist who joined the Town & Country team in 2018. Isabella shares her life with her Doberman, . In her spare times she enjoys spending time with friends and family.
Cattery Technician Linda has been loving and caring for the Pleasanton Pet Hotel cats since 2007. Her home is filled with her three cats Kink, Katie and Simba. In her spare time she sews blankets for the Pleasanton Pet Hotel cats and dogs, and enjoys spending time with her family, walking, and going on cruises. Clients always ask us if their cats ever get out of their hotel suites, and do they get hugs and kisses. Of course...have you met Linda? I'm sure if your cat has stayed in our beautiful cattery they have felt the warmth of Linda's tender loving care.
Pet Hotel Techncian Rachel is a Pet Hotel Technician who has worked at Town & Country since in 2014. Rachel loves going hiking, and hanging out with her two Maltese dogs, Holly and Macy, and her bearded dragon. She currently attends Las Positas College and is pursuing her dream to open her own Pet Hotel.

Pet Hotel Techncian Janelle is a Pet Hotel Technician who has worked at Town & Country since in 2017. Janelle shares her home with her Border Terrier mix, Miya, and her Domestic Short haired cat, Holly. In her spare time you enjoy Hiking and anything outdoors.
Pet Hotel Technician Tristyn is a Pet Hotel Technician. Tristyn worked with us through the ROP High School program, and was hired after graduation in 2016. Although Tristyn went away to college at Humboldt State University, she continued to work with us during the summers and holidays. She recently graduated from Humboldt and has come back to gain more experience in the veterinary field prior to continuing her career as an RVT. Tristyn shares her life with her Terrier mix, Tucker. In her spare time Tristyn enjoys outdoor activities and spending time with her boyfriend. Photo to come.
