Meet Our Team
Veterinarian, Medical Director Dr. Coleen Dossey has been with Town & Country Veterinary Hospital since April 1995. She earned a B.S in Biochemistry, a M.S. in Animal Physiology and a Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine (D.V.M.) degree at the University of California at Davis. In addition to practicing traditional veterinary medicine, she has pursued advanced education in integrative medicine and is an I.V.A.S. Certified Veterinary Acupuncturist. Dr. Dossey earned certification by the Chi Institute in Chinese Herbal Medicine in 2014, and is excited to offer both holistic treatment options for your pet, as well as traditional veterinary medicine. When she is not busy tending to the needs of her two dogs and three cats, she enjoys spending quality time with her husband, watching her sons play lacrosse, gardening, quilting, and practicing yoga.
Veterinarian Dr. Lisa Mason has been with Town & Country since 2014. Dr. Mason earned her Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Michigan, and graduated with honors from Michigan State University Veterinary School. Before relocating to the Tri-Valley area, Dr. Mason worked at a large multi-doctor veterinary hospital in Southern California for 16 years. Dr. Mason shares her home with Emma, a Thoroughbred, Spike, a Tennessee Walker, and Cassie (a.k.a. Cassidy Buttercup Dandelion), a rescued Golden Retriever mix. In her spare time she enjoys horseback riding, taking her children to and from their various sports and activities, and spending quality time with her husband, family and friends.
Veterinarian Dr. Jeanne Rosato joined the Town & Country team in 2018. Previously she has practiced in Fremont for 27 years. Dr. Rosato received her Bachelor of Science degree in Biochemistry from Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo. She earned her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine degree at Purdue University in Indiana, where she received the award for Highest Proficiency in Small Animal Medicine as a senior student. Although Dr. Rosato loves all creatures, her passion is to help Town & Country to become a Fear-Free feline friendly practice. She shares her home with her four furry felines: Tamale, Lizzie, Queso, and Eiger. In her spare time, Dr. Rosato and her husband enjoy skiing, hiking, camping, and canoeing.
Hospital Manager Cheree has been with Town & Country since 1998. Cheree graduated in 2007 with an A.A. in Administration of Justice. She shares her home with her husband and their furry child Ronan, a red Doberman. In her spare time she enjoys playing mahjong, gardening, swimming, and spending time with friends and family.
Pet Hotel Manager Stephanie has been keeping the pets of the Pleasanton Pet Hotel happy, healthy, and well cared for since 2007. In 2016, Stephanie attended the Dog Trainer course through Animal Behavior College. Stephanie shares her home with her dogs Blue, Milo, Hunter, Paco, and Foxy. She also has an African Gray Parrot named Darby, Tweet the wild Sparrow, a cat named Shooter, and Rocky the Arabian horse. When she's not caring for the precious pets of the Pleasanton Pet Hotel, she is spending time with friends and family, and enjoying horseback riding.
Lead Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) Sabyl rejoined the Town & Country team in 2018, after a 13 year hiatus. Sabyl has been in the veterinary field since 2000. Sabyl shares her life with her husband, her son, and an animal or two. These include two Cattle Dog mixes Tesla and Jane, a terrier named Polly, her Jack Russel Terrier mix Gordon, a one-eyed cat named Mao, her one-eyed horse Minnow, and two chickens called Kitt and Natalie. In her spare time she enjoys horseback riding, spending time with friends and family, and visiting her cabin in the woods.
Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) Jessica joined the Town & Country team in 2014. Jessica lives on a ranch so it's safe to say that she has way too many animals. Jessica shares her life with her cats, Kolby and Ascher, her dogs Ace, Gunner, Tanner, and Molly. If she had spare time she would enjoy riding horses, racing cars, and spending time with her husband and friends. But now life is centered around her new baby daughter, born in August. Congratulations!
Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) Odessa (a.k.a) Odie, joined the Town & Country team in 2016. Odie is a Registered Veterinary Technician and has been in the veterinary field since 2012. Odie shares her home with her extremely enthusiastic German Shepherd named Sam. In her spare time she enjoys the great outdoors, camping, working out and spending quality time with her husband and their two awesomely amazing high energy boys.
Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) Cassie first came to Town & Country when she completed her Carrington College externship hours at our hospital and fell in love with our patients, clients, and team. We fell in love with her too, and asked her to join our Town & Country team in 2017. Cassie shares her life with her cat, June Carter, her four Chihuahua mixes, Pancho, Paisley, Lexie, and Cash, and a few turtles and lizards. In her spare time she enjoys the great outdoors.
Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) Mary joined the Town & Country team in 2019. Mary received her veterinary training in the military, and fell in love with helping animals. Mary shares her home with Leelo, an American Bulldog, Dugan, a Dachshund mix, and Bubba Fisher, her fish. In her spare time she enjoys spending quality time with her husband and son, reading, practicing yoga, and the great outdoors.
Client Services Representative (CSR) Michael Ann joined the Town & Country team in 2015 as a Client Care Specialist. In her spare time she enjoys horseback riding, camping, and spending quality time with friends and family. Michael Ann shares her home with her boyfriend and their deaf, double dapple Dachshund named Quiet Riot. She enjoys curling up with a good book, coloring, and Karaoke.
Client Services Representative (CSR) Bridgette is a Client Care Specialist, and we were thrilled to have her join our Town & Country team in 2016. She lives on a cattle ranch in Castro Valley with her husband, her two Dachshunds, two cats, five horses and one goat. In her spare time she enjoys riding her horse, Lucy, taking photographs of the livestock on the ranch, and spending time with friends and family.
Cattery Technician Lindsey has been lovingly caring for the Pleasanton Pet Hotel cats since 2018. Her home is filled with her four cats Jade, Mr. Bells, Mushu, and Aussie. Lindsey earned her B.F.A. from the Academy of Art University in San Francisco. In her spare time she enjoys hiking, camping, trips to Disneyland, painting, and photography. Lindsey took all of the photos for our employee bios - thanks Lindsey! She loves to pamper the felines in her care, and more often than not they will all be found relaxing in the cattery to Lindsey's favorite artist, Frank Sinatra.
Pet Hotel Technician Rachel is a Pet Hotel Technician who has worked at Town & Country since 2014. Rachel loves going hiking, and hanging out with her two Maltese dogs, Holly and Macy, and her Bearded Dragon. She currently attends Cal State East Bay, pursuing her dream to open her own Pet Hotel.
Pet Hotel Technician Sophia is a Pet Hotel Technician who has worked at Town & Country since in 2017. Sophia shares her home with three gray Tabbies, Dr. Feel Good, Louie, and Umpy, and her Lop Eared Rabbit, Camille. In her spare time she enjoys hiking, painting, and playing piano.
Pet Hotel Technician Janelle is a Pet Hotel Technician who has been part of the Town & Country team since in 2017. Janelle shares her home with her Border Terrier mix, Miya, and her Domestic Short Haired cat named Holly. In her spare time she enjoys hiking, and pretty much anything outdoors. Janelle can often be found taking boarding pets on walks down Del Valle Parkway, or inside the runs spending quality time with the Pleasanton Pet Hotel guests in her care.
Pet Hotel Technician Tristyn is a Pet Hotel Technician who began working with the Town & Country team in 2014 through the ROP program at Granada High. Tristyn graduated with a B.S. in Zoology from Humboldt State University in 2018. She is interested in pursuing a degree as a Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT). Tristyn shares her life with her Terrier mix named Tucker. In her spare time she enjoys outdoor activities and spending time with her boyfriend.
