Your pet is always pampered at the Pleasanton Pet Hotel. We know that it’s hard to leave your pets in someone else’s care, but having a safe and reliable home-away-from-home for your furry family member, helps make it easier when you need to take time away. Whether you are away for just a day or an extended event or vacation, feel comfortable knowing that your pet is with their second family. Our Pet Hotel team has been tucking in the pets of the Tri-Valley area since 1984.
Stephanie, our Pet Hotel Manager, has been with Town & Country since 2007, and knows each and every visitor by name, and their little quirks! Our Pet Hotel Technicians are CPR trained, and carefully monitor your pet’s eating and bathroom habits, watch for any change in their routine, and monitor for any possible signs of discomfort.
Our canine accommodations offer indoor/outdoor runs, which allow our guests to view one another in the warm sunshine, or nap in the cool shade. All pets are provided with warm fleece blankets for lounging. In the summer months, gentle water misters help to keep our guests cool, and in the winter, any guests that need extra warmth are outfitted from our supply of adorable complimentary sweaters to wear during their stay. We also offer leash walks, stuffed kong toys, and an oral dental spray for an additional fee.
Our cattery is a sunlit oasis, and every kitty’s dream come true. Offering spacious window suites with plenty of natural lighting and views, cat trees, catnip, and soothing music to calm even the most fastidious of felines. located in a quiet upstairs area far from the canine activity below. Your cat will enjoy relaxing music and natural lighting while snuggling in a fleece-lined custom made hammock. Our feline guests take turns lounging on our couches or checking out the play tower and scratching posts while their suites are cleaned and tidied up each day. Our office is closed for drop off and pick up on the weekends and holidays, but rest assured that our Pet Hotel team is here working to spoil our guests 365 days a year, for over 20 years. Follow us in Instagram and Facebook to see weekly photos of our boarding guests.
Diet & Treats & Toys
We recommend that you bring your pet’s own food for us to feed while they are with us to minimize any dietary disruptions. However, if you wish we can feed our high quality food to your cat or dog. Feel free to bring a few familiar treats and toys for your pet to enjoy during their stay. If you forgot, no problem, we have plenty of stuffed Kong treats for sale to keep our canine guests occupied for several hours.
For the safety of all our hotel guests, cats and dogs must be free of fleas and up to date on vaccinations. We will require a copy of your pets current vaccination records showing proof of vaccinations from your pet’s veterinarian. If your pet is found to have fleas while boarding please be aware that we will require administration of a flea/tick product for an additional fee.
Dogs must be current on Rabies, DA2PP, Influenza, and Bordetella.
Cats must be current on Rabies, FVRCP, and FeLV (or negative Feline Leukemia Virus test within the last year). If your cats FeLV vaccination is 3 years past due or a FeLV vaccination has never been given, a Negative FeLV/FIV test is required prior to boarding and vaccinating for FeLV.
So that our team can provide the very best care for your pet, we ask that you please print, complete, and bring the Boarding Pet Assessment for each pet that will be staying with us at the time of drop off. Having this form completed will help to speed your pets check-in time, and allow us to make any accommodations they may need prior to their arrival.
If your pet has any medical conditions or concerns that you would like checked or needs vaccination administered, we would be happy to schedule an examination with our doctors during their stay. If your pet has never received one of the vaccinations listed above, we kindly ask that you schedule an appointment at least 2 weeks prior to your pets stay with us, to allow for better protection.
At this time we are unable to offer tours of our Pet Hotel due to COVID. However, we look forward to giving you a tour when our office re-opens to the public.
